Job description for MEP Drafter at Ganesha Indonesia EPCM
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
. Develop conceptual sketches from lead engineers into full DED
packages complete with dimensions, annotations, technical symbols, and legends
. Draft schematic diagrams (Single Line Diagrams, plumbing schematics, HVAC riser diagrams).
. Coordinate the spatial routing of piping, ductwork, and cable trays against architectural and structural designs.
. Identify and resolve physical overlaps/interferences between utility
lines and structural elements
. Update drawings based on engineer mark-ups, client feedback, or architect design changes.
. Manage sheet numbering, revision tracking, and maintain digital project
archives according to company standards.
· Utilize AutoCAD 2D/3D for traditional technical drafting.
. Operate Revit MEP for 3D Information Modeling and multi-disciplinary coordination.
. Ensure drawing compliance with local codes, national standards, and international regulations
QUALIFICATION
. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or Vocational High School in Drafting with equivalent experience).
. Minimum 2+ years of experience as an MEP Drafter in engineering consultancy or construction.
. Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D (Required)
. Experience with Autodesk Revit MEP (Highly Preferred)
. Good spatial coordination skills to resolve cross-disciplinary clashes (Architecture & Structure).
. Strong ability to read engineering sketches and convert them into technical drawings.
