Job description for Mentor: Early Childhood, Preschool, Primary, Lower Secondary at Kidsland International School
Next year, we will open a new Baby Campus, a dedicated learning environment for children aged 1 to 2, where music, movement, sensory exploration, and warm, responsive interaction are at the heart of learning.
As we prepare for this new beginning and strengthen our existing Preschool, Primary, and Lower Secondary teams, we are opening opportunities for new mentors to join us and grow with the journey ahead.
We are looking for young people and early career educators who are excited to work in a creative and musical learning environment, people who are genuinely curious about children and find joy in helping them learn and grow.
At Kidsland Penagreen, learning goes beyond the classroom. Our mentors create meaningful experiences through sensory exploration, music and movement, independent learning, collaborative projects, and positive partnerships with parents.
We believe children flourish when they feel safe, understood, encouraged, and loved. Our mentors play an important role in creating that environment every day.
Your university or educational background is not the most important thing to us. We are more interested in who you are, your willingness to learn, and how naturally you connect with children.
You may be a good fit for Kidsland Penagreen if you:
• Enjoy interacting with children and building meaningful relationships with them
• Enjoy creating a positive and well managed classroom environment
• Enjoy using music and art as tools for learning
• Are caring, patient, responsible, and eager to learn
• Are comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues and parents
• Can communicate comfortably in English
• Have a strong foundation in Mathematics, particularly for Primary or Lower Secondary positions
• Play a musical instrument, enjoy singing, or simply love making music
• Have experience working with or volunteering with children, such as in Sunday School, community activities, children’s clubs, tutoring, or similar programs
Previous experience working with children is an advantage, but openness, commitment, and a willingness to keep growing matter just as much.
