Job description for MEL & Impact Lead at Bamboo Village Trust
Bamboo Village Trust (BVT) is looking for a strategic and data-savvy Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Lead to join our global team.
In this role, you’ll lead the design and implementation of MEL systems that drive data-informed decisions, shape global impact narratives, and support donor engagement. You’ll be at the forefront of turning data into meaningful insights that amplify the reach and credibility of our mission across Asia, Africa, and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Design and adapt MEL frameworks and MRV systems for programs across regions
- Train internal teams and partners in MEL tools, including digital LMS modules
- Oversee program reporting, integrate data into dashboards (PowerBI, Google Data Studio)
- Analyze MEL data to generate strategic recommendations and adaptive insights
- Collaborate globally to align impact methodologies and contribute to high-profile reports
- ✅ Support engagement with donors and multilateral partners through impact-driven storytelling
Who You Are
✔ Have 5+ years in MEL or impact roles, ideally in international development
✔ Strong analytical and data visualization skills
✔ Experienced in capacity building and training
✔ Excellent communicator and cross-cultural collaborator
✔ Passionate about using data for impact
