MECHANICAL ENGINEER (Experienced)
🎯 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in construction, MEP, or industrial projects
Proven experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, utilities, or similar)
Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other mechanical design tools
Strong understanding of engineering standards, codes, and safety regulations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills to coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Willing to work on-site and travel as required
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and review mechanical systems in accordance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements
Prepare Bill of Quantity (BoQ), manpower requirements, and project time schedules
Prepare and interpret technical drawings, calculations, and technical documents
Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site
Ensure all mechanical works comply with applicable standards, codes, and safety regulations
Conduct site surveys and field inspections to ensure alignment between design and implementation
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including electrical, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution
Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables related to mechanical scope
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution and maintenance
Review vendor/subcontractor work, including technical documents and deliverables
Prepare and maintain technical reports and project documentation
Attend project coordination meetings and communicate with clients as required
