Mechanical Engineer

Job Requirements:

1. Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, P&ID, layout drawings, and equipment manuals.
2. Hands-on experience with rotating and static equipment and industrial machines.
3. Strong knowledge of international standards and codes such as ASME, API, ISO, and relevant OEM standards
4. Solid understanding of machine installation practices
5. Deep understanding of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
6. Able to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, layout drawings, and OEM manuals.
7. Familiar with construction sequences, method statements, and commissioning procedures
8. apable of preparing and reviewing technical documents, including: Installation procedures, Commissioning reports, Mechanical completion dossiers, As-built documentation
9. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills during installation and start-up phases.
10. Good leadership and coordination skills to supervise engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
11. Able to work independently under pressure and meet project schedules and deadlines.
12. Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical failures during commissioning (misalignment, vibration, overheating, leakage
13. Strong understanding of construction sequencing and interface management with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
14. Able to coordinate with vendors, inspectors, and third-party commissioning teams.

Key Responsibility:

1. Lead and supervise mechanical construction, installation, and commissioning of machines and equipment.
2. Review and execute installation procedures, method statements, and commissioning plans.
3. Coordinate with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure proper interface and sequence of work.
4. Supervise contractors and technicians during equipment erection, alignment, leveling, grouting, and mechanical completion.
5. Conduct and witness pre-commissioning, commissioning, FAT, and SAT activities.
6. Troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation and start-up, and implement corrective actions.
7. Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, OEM requirements, applicable standards, and HSE regulations.
8. Monitor site progress, manage punch lists, and ensure timely project completion.
9. Prepare and review technical reports, commissioning reports, and as-built documentation.
10. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and site teams.
