WE’RE HIRING — Mechanical Engineering

Location: Makassar | Full-Time

Agros is looking for a Mechanical Engineering to support the execution of pump installation and field projects across Makassar.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, site coordination, troubleshooting, and working directly with customers and project teams.

Responsibilities

Support the installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of large-scale pump systems
Conduct site visits and assist with project execution in the field
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during installation and operation
Monitor project progress and ensure field activities follow technical requirements
Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
Read and interpret basic technical drawings, site layouts, and installation plans
Prepare field reports, installation documentation, and project updates
Ensure tools, equipment, and project materials are properly prepared and used
Support testing, handover, and post-installation follow-up activities

Requirements

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; other relevant engineering backgrounds may also be considered
Experience with large pump installations, water infrastructure, irrigation systems, or construction projects is preferred
Able to understand technical drawings, site layouts, and installation requirements
Comfortable working on-site and handling hands-on technical activities
Good communication and coordination skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to solve problems in the field
Able to work independently and collaboratively with project teams
Willing to travel and visit project locations across Makassar
Having a personal vehicle and valid driving licence is a plus
