What We’re Looking For a Primary and Secondary (Middle School) Mathematics Tutor:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written)
- Subject Knowledge:
- Confident in teaching Mathematics to students aged 6 through age 14 (middle school)
- Familiarity with National, Cambridge, IGCSE, or IB curricula is highly preferred
Teaching Skills:
- Able to explain mathematical concepts clearly and engagingly in English
- Comfortable adjusting materials based on student needs (e.g. test/exam preparation)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willing to collaborate and support fellow teachers
Availability: Able to start immediately and commit to a full-time role
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and clear Math lessons outside of school hours to reinforce and expand student understanding
- Develop and adjust lesson materials aligned with what students are learning in school
- Assess each student’s level and adapt your teaching approach to meet their individual needs
- Take initiative to ensure online classes run smoothly and effectively
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding student progress and classroom needs
- Be flexible and proactive in supporting the success of all Math classes
