Now, we’re looking for a Math Teacher who sees mathematics not just as a subject to teach, but as a way to inspire curiosity, confidence, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons for Primary and Lower Secondary students.
• Teach Mathematics using My Pals Are Here! Mathematics and Cambridge Lower Secondary Mathematics as the main curriculum references.
• Develop lesson plans, learning activities, worksheets, and assessments aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Help students develop strong numeracy, mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Use concrete examples, visual representations, and real-life contexts to help students understand mathematical concepts.
• Monitor and evaluate students' academic progress and provide appropriate feedback and support.
• Create an engaging, supportive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team in curriculum planning, assessment development, and school programmes.
• Participate actively in school activities and professional development programmes.
Candidate Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Primary and/or Lower Secondary Mathematics.
• Familiarity with Cambridge Lower Secondary Mathematics and My Pals Are Here! (Singapore Math) is highly preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain them in a simple and engaging way.
• Good classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about working with children and supporting their academic development.
• Comfortable integrating technology and interactive learning methods into Mathematics lessons.
