Job description for Math Facilitator (Kudus - Central Java) at Edukita
Role Summary
The Facilitator is the lead trainer responsible for improving math teaching skills of 60 students at a technical, vocational school (SMK jurusan teknik) through structured training, reflection sessions, classroom observations, and personalized coaching. This role requires strong pedagogy, mastery of math concepts, and an ability to guide students toward effective and engaging classroom practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1)
- Mathematics Education / Mathematics / related field
- Strong grasp of SMK mathematics for the technical industry (SMK)
- Solid conceptual understanding across key topics
- Understanding of math pedagogy (at least 3-5 years of math teaching experience)
Familiar with:
- Inquiry-based learning
- Problem-solving frameworks
- Conceptual & visual teaching approaches
- Ability to simplify complex ideas
- Explains concepts clearly, step-by-step, in an intuitive way
- Training design & delivery
Experience in:
- Session / lesson planning
- Developing training materials
- Delivering structured programs
- Strong relationship-building skills
Engages effectively with:
- Teachers
- School leaders
- Program team
Collaborative program delivery
- Works closely with Project Manager & Co-Facilitator
Understanding of Indonesian school context
- Especially SMP/SMK environments and the technical industry
- Exposure to education programs / CSR initiatives (preferred)
Willingness for full-time, on-site placement (Kudus), comfortable with school visits and field-based work.
