Degree in merchandising/fashion design/textile management

2+ years of experience in the fashion industry with a strong knowledge of fabric development

Strong technical knowledge of fabric developments, sourcing, and analyzing

Able to communicate with suppliers (negotiate prices)

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Willing to mobile working (survey suppliers)

Advance skills in English (listening, writing, speaking, and reading) and skills in other languages are plus points

Understanding of textile materials and garment processes

Sourcing new materials and other matters related to the procurement of production materials needed by buyers and developing suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Have a good knowledge in garment manufacturing materials, such as: hang tag, yarn, packaging, button, zipper, etc.

Drawing up the master schedule to establish fabric production sequence and lead time of each production to meet deadline according to orders

Coordination related to material purchases, including price negotiations, minimum order quantity, and minimum color quantity
