Job description for Marketing Manager at Geekhunter
Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a trusted consumer goods company with a strong presence in the local market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to strengthen brand positioning, increase brand awareness, and drive sales growth.
- Lead advertising, promotional, digital marketing, market research, sponsorship, event, and product launch initiatives.
- Ensure marketing programs are data-driven, cost-effective, aligned with business objectives, and deliver measurable results.
- Manage and develop the marketing team while collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, IT, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop annual advertising and sales promotion plans based on market research, sales data, consumer trends, and competitor analysis.
- Align marketing campaigns with sales targets and brand positioning strategies.
- Create promotional concepts, campaign themes, and media plans in accordance with target audience and brand guidelines.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and marketing budgets.
- Establish and enforce marketing SOPs and performance standards.
- Define KPIs and performance metrics for all marketing initiatives and conduct regular evaluations.
- Lead and monitor execution of marketing and promotional activities across field operations.
- Conduct market research, consumer analysis, and brand performance assessments.
- Drive area expansion and distribution development, including opening and developing new markets.
- Manage new product development and product launch activities.
- Oversee promotional budget utilization and negotiate with agencies, vendors, and event organizers.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements or continuation strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales to activate new and inactive outlets.
- Collaborate with Brand Development to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Develop and maintain customer relationship management initiatives to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate marketing team performance.
- Identify and implement digital marketing, social media, and marketing technology
- innovations.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful campaign execution.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Marketing Management, Business Management, Communications, or related field is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Promotion, Marketing, or a similar role within the Consumer Products/Retail industry.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and large-scale marketing campaign execution.
- Proven experience in team leadership and people development.
- Experienced in budget management, vendor management, and external partnership management.
