Job description for Marketing Intern at Hydragun Pte Ltd

We are looking for marketing interns to assist us in our digital marketing campaigns and promotions. You will have the opportunity to learn the systems, thought processes and workflows of a fast-growing direct-to-consumer ecommerce brand.

NOTE: This role is not a transitional role to a full-time position with HYDRAGUN. The Marketing Intern role is a support role for our digital marketing team.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting our marketing and promotional campaigns. As a marketing intern, you will get first-hand experience with the preparation and planning aspects of marketing campaigns.
Your day-to-day tasks include:
- Conduct market research and compile relevant data
- Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral
- Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels
- Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
- Take part in formal and informal training opportunities
- Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives

- Fluency in English reading, writing and comprehension skills
- Excellent active listening skills
- Highly organized and meticulous with a strong attention to detail, yet not nitpicky
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and able to display good judgement and decision-making
- Able to solve problems creatively
- Able to work autonomously and interdependently with the team without guidance or “hand holding”, yet not uncommunicative and operating in a silo
- Demonstrates integrity and focuses on great customer experience
- Able to communicate instructions and feedback clearly and directly
- Able to accept feedback critically and apply with good judgement
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing work flows and responsibilities
- Passionate about peak performance and actively works on improving their mental and physical performance consistently
- Able to work within tight deadlines and meets or exceeds targets
- Fast learner
Experience
- Proficient in Google Workspace apps (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Familiar with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
Education
- High school diploma and currently pursuing undergraduate degree preferred; or equivalent work experience required
Nice-to-haves
- Self-starter. Have started personal projects and seen it to completion with relative success
- Great leadership qualities
- Remote working experience with a team
- Successful completion of introductory courses in marketing, business, or equivalent
- Previous experience with the use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social) a plus
