Scope of Work: (Full Time) Community Marketing Specialist (in Sport Marketing)
Placement : Bandung, West Java
This scope of work outlines the comprehensive responsibilities of a Community Marketing Specialist in sport marketing, ensuring that all aspects of community management, with the core objective of growing Passport Planet Persib’s awareness and driving community engagement-based sales to maximize the impact of sports-related PR and marketing initiatives. This position will be based in Bandung.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Community Engagement & Relationship Building
- Identify & Engage: Actively identify and engage with football fan groups, local communities, and online forums that are aligned with Persib Bandung.
- Foster Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with key influencers, community leaders, and fan organizations (e.g., Bobotoh) to create mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Ambassador Programs: Develop and manage a fan ambassador or influencer program to promote the Passport Planet Persib product within their communities.
2. Awareness & Promotion Activities
Event Participation: Organize and attend events (e.g., matchday activations, fan gatherings) to raise awareness about Passport Planet Persib and directly engage potential customers.
Workshops & Presentations: Coordinate community-based workshops or presentations to showcase the value of the Passport Planet Persib membership.
Merchandise & Giveaways: Implement community-exclusive merchandise giveaways or incentives for Passport Planet Persib sign-ups.
3. Digital & Social Media Outreach
Online Communities: Engage with and manage online communities on social media platforms (Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, Instagram) that are passionate about PERSIB.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to create tailored content (videos, infographics, testimonials) for promoting Passport Planet Persib across digital channels and within online communities.
Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor discussions, feedback, and sentiments about Passport Planet Persib within communities and report on potential opportunities or areas of improvement.
4. Partnership Development
Local Partnerships: Identify potential local partners (e.g., cafes, event spaces, or vendors frequently visited by Bobotoh) to create collaborative campaigns for promoting Passport Planet Persib.
Cross-Community Initiatives: Establish collaborations with other football-related communities and events, creating cross-promotional campaigns or joint fan activities to maximize Passport Planet Persib visibility.
5. Sales & Conversion Focus
Community Sales Campaigns: Develop and execute localized campaigns within the community to drive Passport Planet Persib sales (e.g., early-bird promotions, referral programs).
Tracking & Analysis: Set up metrics to track the effectiveness of community-driven campaigns on Passport Planet Persib awareness and conversions, providing regular reports to management.
6. Advocacy & Feedback Loop
Fan Feedback: Act as a liaison between Planet Persib and its community, gathering and delivering insights and feedback from fans about the Passport Planet Persib experience.
Customer Support: Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve community concerns related to Passport Planet Persib and enhance the overall fan experience.
7. Monitoring & Performance Analysis
Real-time Monitoring: Track the performance of communities, focusing on engagement rates, fan interactions, sentiment, and any football-specific metrics like mentions during events.
Data Analysis: Use analytics tools to measure the success of the football-related community engagement and campaigns and gather insights on audience reactions and engagement.
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on project and campaign outcomes, including ROI analysis, and present these findings to stakeholders with recommendations for future football marketing initiatives.
8. Budget Management
Financial Planning: Develop and manage the budget for football-related community engagement and campaigns, ensuring optimal use of resources to achieve the highest impact.
Expense Tracking: Monitor campaign expenses and adjust strategies as necessary to stay within budget while maximizing the effectiveness of football marketing efforts.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Marketing Teams: Collaborate with the broader marketing team, including digital, content, and brand managers, to ensure KOL community engagement activities align with the overall marketing strategy.
Coordinate with Public Relations Teams: Partner with PR teams to align community engagement projects and campaigns with communications objectives and narratives.
10. Crisis Management
Issue Resolution: Handle any issues or crises that arise during community engagements, such as negative feedback, content misalignment, or public relations concerns.
Crisis Communication: Develop and implement a plan for addressing any negative outcomes related to community engagement projects and campaigns.
Qualifications:
Work Experience: 2-5 years in community management, marketing, or sales, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in engaging with communities and influencers.
Passion for Football: A strong understanding of football culture, especially relating to PERSIB, with a passion for engaging fans.
Social Media Savvy: Demonstrated experience using social media platforms to engage and grow communities.
Event Management: Experience in organizing and managing community events or promotions.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze the success of campaigns and adapt strategies accordingly.
Able to do full WFO at Bandung area.
Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Excellent multitasking skills, communication skills, attention to details.
