Job description for Marketing Communication at Besthostels Indonesia
- Develop strong, compelling, and strategic marketing plans according to annual marketing budgets with specific goals and action plans to drive engagement, maintain brand position, and promote revenue growth through the use of existing and new communication tools.
- Execute all marketing, branding, and communications strategies as outlined in the plan. This includes, but is not limited to, sales campaigns, media planning, event calendar, brand activation, and digital marketing. All marketing expenses incurred shall be tracked and recorded properly together with the proof and justifiable results.
- Ensure the implementation of brand guidelines in all aspects of customer touch points to ensure the standards are followed and in place.
- Manages research studies that yield rich insights into market trends and consumer behavior, and use these findings to develop strategies.
- Develop press releases and engaging stories for relevant communications platforms in order to drive awareness, engagement and media coverage.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, positive media relationships on a national, regional and local level through press release distribution, personalized pitches, calls, face-to-face meetings.
- Develop and maintain press kit, media database and handle media inquiries.
- Initiate and maximize other marketing and PR opportunities on the relevant platforms in accordance with the commercial strategy to promote greater customer engagement and generate PR coverage.
- Bringing digital, data and technology innovation solutions to the company by developing digital marketing strategies. Work closely with the internal team and appointed digital marketing agency to implement effective SEO and SEM strategies, along with other digital marketing initiatives.
- Liaise with the social media team and oversee the development of social media content across all channels, calendar and paid campaign to ensure the messaging and content align with the brand guideline and position in order to achieve the desired impacts.
- Provide creative brief, advice and direction to the team when developing marketing assets and branded material including collateral, marketing literatures, sales tools and other relevant assets used by the company to promote its products, services, or brand to ensure all visuals and content comply with the brand guideline and positioning.
- Coordinate photo and video production with in-house creative team and/or appointed photographer or content creator, to ensure the assets produced are of high standards and comply with the brand identity guidelines.
- Plan and maintain communications to partners and guests database through the available email marketing tool, including special offers, monthly e-newsletter, announcements and other updates.
- Maintain, update and optimize all content online (brand.com and other available platforms) to ensure it’s up to date and according to standard guideline and brand positioning.
- Works collaboratively with key internal teams (Sales, Business Development, Creative, IT) to plan and deliver various campaigns to drive revenue growth.
- Find opportunities and initiate strategic marketing partnership with external parties (partners/companies/organizations/communities) to drive awareness and revenue growth.
- Prepare requisitions and record of purchase orders/payment requests/sponsorship vouchers as required.
- Provide campaign performance reporting and analysis, media monitoring, filing and reporting as required by the management.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/Management, Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field. Preferably Supervisor level specialized in Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing or equivalent in hospitality/travel industry.
- Experience in a tech/e-commerce/startup company would be an advantage.
