Job description for Marketing Assistant at YOOZ
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to drive sales growth for our coatings/paint product line. This role involves prospecting new clients, understanding their technical needs, proposing suitable product solutions, negotiating and closing deals, as well as maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers.
Qualifications:
For Fresh Graduates:
- Diploma (D3) or above in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, or Management
- Candidates with prior sales experience may be considered with a high school diploma or equivalent (education requirement relaxed for proven sales background)
General Requirements:
- Able to communicate in English (working proficiency)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills, quick learner, good logical/analytical thinking
- Can speak Mandarin is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Deal Closing: After training, independently identify and approach potential customers, present company products, understand customer needs, propose matching product solutions, negotiate pricing, and close contracts
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with existing customers, handle after-sales support, and manage accounts receivable collection
- Market Research: Gather customer information and competitor intelligence to support sales strategy
