Manengkel Solidaritas membuka kesempatan bagi individu yang berdedikasi untuk bergabung sebagai Marine Program Officer. Kami mencari pribadi yang memiliki kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, semangat belajar, serta siap terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan konservasi laut, restorasi ekosistem, pengelolaan kawasan konservasi perairan, dan pendampingan masyarakat pesisir di Sulawesi Utara.

General Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Science, Fisheries, Environmental Science, or a related field. Fresh graduates with internship or volunteer experience are welcome to apply.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in coastal and marine environments.
- Strong swimming and snorkeling skills. SCUBA diving certification is a significant advantage.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to build good relationships with local communities.
Technical Competencies
1. Marine Protected Areas (MPA) & Community Engagement
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with community leaders, fishers, and community surveillance groups (POKMASWAS).
- Basic understanding of facilitating community meetings and small group discussions.
- Willingness to learn field reporting applications, such as SMART Patrol or basic logbooks.
2. Ecosystem Restoration (Coral Reefs & Mangroves)
- Basic understanding of coral reef and mangrove conservation and restoration.
- Willingness to perform hands-on fieldwork, including assembling restoration modules, attaching coral fragments, and planting mangroves in muddy environments.
- Ability to accurately collect and record basic field data, such as seedling survival rates and growth measurements.
3. Mapping & Data Management (Basic GIS)
- Ability to collect GPS coordinates using handheld GPS devices or smartphone applications.
- Basic understanding of mapping and spatial data. Experience with QGIS or ArcGIS is an advantage.
- Ability to organize, manage, and maintain field data using Microsoft Excel.
4. Environmental Education & Program Administration
- Ability to prepare simple Terms of Reference (TOR), activity plans, and well-organized activity reports.
- Ability to deliver environmental education and awareness sessions using clear, accessible language for schoolchildren and local communities
