Job description for Marine Electrical Engineer at PT. Jagad Mandiri Marine
- Perform installation, inspection, and maintenance of marine electrical systems
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems including generators, panels, motors, and wiring
- Interpret and analyze electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Handle systems such as:
- Main & emergency generators
- Switchboards & power distribution panels
- Electric motors & starters
- Basic navigation & communication systems
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance
- Prepare technical reports (service reports & troubleshooting reports)
- Coordinate with technicians, engineers, and clients
- Ensure all work complies with HSE standards and marine regulations
We’re Looking For - 2–3+ years experience in marine electrical systems
- Strong diagnostic & troubleshooting skills
- Experienced with marine control panels, navigation systems & generators
- Able to work on-site and travel when required
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and solution-driven
