Job description for Mandarin Teacher for Preschool at Trehaus School Jakarta
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mandarin Teacher to join our preschool and daycare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong command of the Mandarin language. The teacher will be responsible for creating a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for young learners while fostering their Mandarin language skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement age-appropriate Mandarin language lessons for children aged 1 - 6yo.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and language development.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including play-based learning, songs, and interactive activities.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and the school administration.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning experience.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Mandarin Language, or a related field.
Fluency in Mandarin (both spoken and written).
Previous experience teaching Mandarin to young children.
Strong understanding of early childhood development and learning strategies.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
Preferred:
Teaching certification in Mandarin or Early Childhood Education.
Experience working in a preschool or daycare setting.
Knowledge of bilingual education strategies.
