Mandarin Interpreter

Role:

Assist & facilitate communication between our employees who do not share common languages. Interpreter responsible to support communication during their employee duty, work and learning process.

Responsibility:

• Chinese interpreters assist in communication by converting messages, speech and text from Mandarin Chinese into a Bahasa/ English or vice versa.
• Assisting Operations employees on their training program and following employees schedule training sessions.
• Read, proofread, edit and revise as needed any written materials such as, formal form, reports including technical terms and rewrite the material into the specified language
• Convert dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker, understanding that many idioms and slang terms do not translate exactly between languages.
• Adapt translations to employees if required and collaborate with other educators if necessary for your occupation
• Submit translations to appropriate management for review as needed.
• Completion of daily activity logs and other documentation.
• Complying with applicable ethics and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree Chinese Linguistic Major
• Excellent bilingual communication skills, both verbal and written in Chinese
• Willing to follow 12 months contract period
• Having a proficient computer skills.
• Outstanding listening, retention and note-taking skills.
• Excellent concentration and the ability to think quickly are essential
• Fast learner with excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Understanding of cultural sensitivity, and ability to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Willing to commute to LAMIPAK Indonesia (Site Office) Cikande - Serang area
