Job description for Maintenance Technician at Melva Balemong
Melva Balemong is looking for a hands-on Technician to help maintain our resort’s facilities and equipment. Based in Ungaran, Central Java, this role supports safe, reliable operations and a comfortable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance throughout the resort.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, and mechanical equipment within your training and authorization.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests in guest rooms, public areas, and operational spaces.
* Monitor essential equipment, including water pumps, water heaters, generators, and pool circulation systems.
* Record maintenance activities, report unresolved issues, and identify spare parts needed for repairs.
* Assist external service providers under the direction of the Engineering team.
* Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
* Follow safety procedures and maintain a courteous, professional manner when working around guests.
Qualifications
* Vocational high school diploma (SMK) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or a related technical field.
* Basic practical knowledge of electrical systems, air conditioning, or plumbing.
* Able to use relevant tools and measuring instruments safely.
* Previous hotel or building maintenance experience is an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
* Responsible, attentive to detail, and willing to learn.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
* Willing to be based in Ungaran, Central Java.
