Luxury Travel Consultant - Diving Specialist
Overview:
Design, sell, and manage luxury diving experiences primarily on liveaboards and yachts, ensuring exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Tailor Diving Itineraries: Customize diving-focused travel experiences based on clients’ preferences, including site selection, liveaboard schedules, yacht availability, and special dive requests.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with liveaboard operators, yacht charters, dive centers, and marine activity suppliers to secure best-in-class services and exclusive arrangements.
- Client Consultation and Relationship Management: Conduct detailed consultation calls/emails with clients, ensuring accurate profiling of diving certifications, experience level, and personal preferences.
- Booking Management: Handle end-to-end booking processes, including itinerary confirmation, payment schedules, travel documentation, insurance recommendations, and special diving permits if required.
- Pre- and Post-Trip Service: Prepare clients with pre-departure briefings (equipment checklist, dive site overviews, safety protocols) and conduct post-trip feedback follow-ups to improve service quality.
- For Senior Level: Ensuring targets are met, timelines are respected, and projects (e.g., new yacht partnerships) are executed effectively.
- For Senior Level: Mentor other travel consultants by reviewing client communications, quotation quality, and itinerary creativity specifically to Diving Experiences and uphold luxury service standards.
- For Supervisor Level: Act as escalation point for VIP clients’ complaints, operational challenges, or emergency dive incidents, coordinating swift resolutions.
- For Supervisor Level: Identify and secure new strategic partnerships with premium liveaboard companies, dive resorts, yacht operators, and marine conservation groups.
- For Supervisory Level: Lead development of new exclusive diving products, collaborating with captains, dive instructors, and expedition leaders to create signature liveaboard and yacht diving experiences.
Requirement
- Experience years:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in diving experiences.
- Certified diver (at least Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of popular and niche dive destinations (e.g., Komodo, Raja Ampat, Maldives, Red Sea).
- High preferences: working with liveaboard operators and/or luxury yacht charters.
- Ability to manage complex itineraries and multi-segment luxury bookings.
- Excellent English communication (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.

- Time Management: Prioritize multiple client inquiries and deadlines without compromising quality.
- Professional Communication: Clear, confident, and diplomatic when emailing, calling, or meeting VIP clients.
