Role Overview
The Live Streaming Operator is responsible for setting up, managing, and maintaining Nutrimotion’s live streaming room and equipment. This role ensures smooth execution of live broadcasts by coordinating closely with hosts, production teams, and marketing stakeholders before, during, and after live sessions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Live Stream Setup & Maintenance
Set up and configure live streaming rooms, including cameras, lighting, microphones, audio mixers, and streaming software.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, tested, and functional before each live session.
Manage internet connectivity and backup systems to ensure stable live streams.
Prepare streaming layouts, scenes, and transitions according to brand guidelines.
2. Live Stream Operations
Operate live streaming software and hardware during broadcasts.
Monitor video, audio, and stream quality in real time.
Troubleshoot technical issues quickly to minimize disruptions during live sessions.
Manage recording and archiving of live streams for post-event use.
3. Host & Team Coordination
Align with hosts before live sessions on technical setup, run-throughs, and streaming flow.
Provide basic technical guidance to hosts (mic usage, camera positioning, lighting, timing).
Coordinate with marketing, content, and production teams on show format, timing, and requirements.
Support rehearsals, test streams, and dry runs as needed.
4. Platform & Content Management
Manage live streaming platforms (e.g., TikTok Live, Instagram Live, Shopee, or other platforms as required).
Ensure correct stream titles, descriptions, links, and branding are applied.
Monitor live comments or platform indicators if required and relay key information to hosts or moderators.
5. Post-Live Support
Ensure recordings are saved, backed up, and delivered to relevant teams.
Report technical issues, performance metrics, and improvement suggestions after each live session.
Assist with basic editing or clipping of live content if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of live streaming equipment (cameras, microphones, lighting, capture cards).
Experience with live streaming software (e.g., OBS, Streamlabs, vMix, or similar).
Understanding of audio mixing and lighting setup for live broadcasts.
Familiarity with streaming platforms and their technical requirements.
Experience
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in live streaming, video production, or broadcast operations (preferred).
Experience supporting live hosts, influencers, or presenters is an advantage.
Experience in e-commerce live streaming or brand marketing live sessions is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure during live broadcasts.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and last-minute requests.
Work Requirements
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on live stream schedules.
On-site presence required for live streaming sessions.
Ability to lift and set up basic equipment if needed.
