KONEKIN (Koneksi Indonesia Inklusif) is a social enterprise that aims to empower and educate persons with disabilities in order to foster an inclusive economy. Since 2018, KONEKIN has collaborated with more than 100 disability communities, 33 organizations, and over 10,000 individuals to address disability-related issues through its services and programs. KONEKIN utilizes a subsidized model to offer three main services to the market: Disability Equality Training (DET), Inclusive Event Organizing, and DEI Consulting. Through our service guidance, companies can identify qualified candidates with disabilities and prepare an inclusive and accessible workplace.
Job Description
- Establish and manage relationships with companies in industrial estates as KONEKIN’s field representative.
- Conduct meetings, visits, and coordination with HR/management to explore and develop collaboration opportunities.
- Identify industrial workforce needs and potential job/internship opportunities for program participants.
- Coordinate regularly with the KONEKIN team for reporting, alignment, and program development.
- Facilitate company involvement in the program, including as mentors, guest speakers, and through other collaborative roles.
- Support the job placement process for participants, including candidate recommendations and post-program mentorship.
Qualification
- Resides in or has access to the Karawang industrial area
- Experience in community engagement, partnership, or HR is preferred
- Possesses strong communication and presentation skills
- Final-semester student or fresh graduate in Social Sciences, Psychology, Management, or other relevant fields with related experience
- Understands the context of the industrial world (experience in labor-intensive industries is a plus)
- Able to work independently and responsibly
- Sensitive to issues of inclusivity and disability
