Job description for Legal Staff at HIGO
Responsible:
1. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including partnership agreements, MOU, NDA, employee contracts, talent agreements, company policies and needs of business.
2. Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices. Represent the company and clients in legal proceedings, if necessary.
3. Review all compliance requirements in the structuring of transactions and development, compliance issues and compliance risks associated with transactions and products and others and mitigating measures for the same proposed for Regulatory Compliance.
4. Manage, review and evaluate Company’s SOP/policies to identify any potential legal risks.
5. Provide training and guidance to clients and team members on legal and compliance matters.
6. Carry out independent legal research and provide accurate opinion on a variety of legal topics.
7. Proactively identify legal needs, review documents, and anticipate potential legal and compliance risks to support business decisions.
Requirement:
1. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as legal, with focus on Corporate/Tech/Advertising/Internet Service Provider
2. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure
3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and regulatory authorities.
5. Effective legal research and experience in drafting legal documentation in both English and Bahasa.
6. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa.
7. Able to work independently across legal needs from multiple departments.
8. Verse in PDP law and other regulations that may be implemented in Indonesia.
