Legal Officer – Music Label & Publishing
Location: PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk), Jakarta
We are looking for an experienced Legal Officer with a strong M&A background to join our team. This position is open to both junior and mid-to-senior level candidates, and will play a key role in supporting corporate transactions and legal operations for our music label and publishing business
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct legal due diligence for corporate and/or asset acquisitions;
2. Draft and review legal documents and transaction agreements;
3. Communicate with internal clients, counterparties, and supervisor;
4. Support the development and implementation of transaction and project
strategies;
5. Provide legal support to the operations of music label and publishing businesses;
6. Organize and manage transaction documents and legal files;
7. Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on
projects;
8. Work closely with supervisor and cross-functional teams on assigned matters;
9. Deliver clear and effective written and verbal communication;
10. Manage multiple tasks efficiently and deliver work within tight timelines.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) with a strong academic record;
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a reputable law firm and/or
multinational company; (This is referring to junior level)
3. Solid experience in M&A transactions (including legal due diligence, drafting, and
contract review);
4. Excellent command of English (both written and spoken);
5. Indonesian advocate license is preferred;
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
