Job description for Legal Assistant at Magnifico Advisory Group
We are seeking a highly competent and proactive Legal Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing corporate legal operations, managing licensing via OSS RBA, executing property & land Legal Due Diligence (LDD), handling corporate secretarial duties, managing IP registrations with DJKI, drafting contracts, and supporting litigation matters (drafting somasi and court claims).
Key Responsibilities
1. Licensing & Regulatory Compliance (OSS RBA):
- Process and manage business licenses, NIB updates, KBLI changes, and Standard Certificates using the OSS RBA system.
- Handle specific operational permits
- Monitor national and regional regulatory updates to ensure full company compliance.
2. Legal Due Diligence (LDD) & Real Estate Operations:
- Conduct Legal Due Diligence (LDD) for land acquisitions, commercial villa/hospitality developments, and public facility projects.
- Verify land titles (SHM/HGB), spatial zoning (KKPR), access rights, and property ownership history.
- Draft land measurement agreements, land transfer documents, and legal access contracts.
3. Corporate Secretarial & AHU Online:
- Prepare legal documentations and minutes for General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) (e.g., changes in Board of Directors/Commissioners, KBLI additions).
- Manage corporate legal filings and collaborate with the Notar for handling AHU Online.
4. Intellectual Property (IP Management):
- Execute trademark searches, class selections, label descriptions, and application filings through DJKI.
5. Contract Drafting & Dispute Resolution:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (Lease Agreements, Operational Agreements, HMA, Service & Vendor Contracts).
- Prepare pre-litigation and litigation documents, including Cease & Desist Letters (Surat Somasi), responses, and Statements of Claim (Surat Gugatan).
- Provide practical legal opinions and risk evaluations to upper management.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Legal Officer, In-House Legal, or Corporate Law Firm Associate.
- Professional Qualification: (Advocate license/PERADI is a strong plus).
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on proficiency in OSS RBA, AHU Online, and DJKI portals.
- Practical expertise in property/land Legal Due Diligence (LDD).
- Proven capability in legal drafting (Contracts, Surat Somasi, Surat Gugatan).
- Sound knowledge of Indonesian Company Law (UU PT), Property Law, and Contract Law.
General Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

- Property/hospitality land acquisition due diligence.
- OSS RBA compliance.
- DJKI Trademark registration.
- RUPS document preparation & AHU Online updates.
- Pre-litigation and litigation drafting.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
