Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the organization’s full compliance with local, national, and international legal and regulatory frameworks, mitigating risks and safeguarding business operations
- Strategically draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, legal counsel, and government agencies, ensuring effective communication and regulatory adherence
- Oversee internal legal affairs, including risk management, dispute resolution, and corporate governance
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine company policies to maintain compliance with evolving regulatory requirements
- Supervise and manage industrial relations, ensuring compliance with company regulations and labor laws (employee contracts, etc) while fostering a positive workplace environment
- Oversee and support the general affairs work process to ensure and optimize the workflow efficiency as well as comply to CDAKB regulations
- Provide legal guidance on employment law, intellectual property, and other business-related legal matters, aligning legal strategies with corporate objectives
- Proactively identify potential legal risks, offering strategic legal consultation and solutions to safeguard the company’s long-term interests
- Remain updated on legal developments to develop the best practices tailored to the business needs.
Qualification:
- Minimum 5 years in corporate legal
- Bachelor degree in Law (a master’s degree in Law will be a value added)
- Proven expertise in legal drafting, with in-depth knowledge of corporate law, business law, and corporate governance
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- A self-motivated professional to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in liaising with government agencies and regulatory authorities
- Prior experience in managing general affairs will be a value added
- Proven expertise in managing industrial relations, including labor law compliance, employee relations, company regulations, and dispute resolution.
- Have Peradi Licence, Corporate Legal Certification (CLC), and other related certification will be a value added
