Job description for Legal & Compliance Officer at PT Portal Gateway Indonesia
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all company policies & practices align with prevailing regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents to protect the company's business interests.
- Identify, analyse, and provide legal advice to minimise risks.
- Manage the procurement, renewal, and administration of business permits and corporate documentation.
- Handle pre-litigation disputes, draft legal notices (somasi), and coordinate with external counsel when necessary.
- Track updates in Indonesian laws.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws from reputable university (preferably specialised in business and/or business law).
- Min. 3 years of experience in corporate legal, handling commercial drafting and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with strong command of legal terminology.
- High ethical standrads, meticulous attention to detail, strong communication and negotiation skills.
