Job description for Learning Development at Emtrade

Job Overview:

As a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge. You will conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify training requirements based on competency gaps and business strategies.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct training needs assessments based on competency gaps, performance, and business needs

2. Develop short-term and long-term training plans aligned with organizational goals

3. Design training curriculums, modules, and learning methodologies

4. Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, pre-test & post-test assessments, and performance impact analysis

5. Continuously improve training programs based on evaluation results and evolving business needs

6. Foster a culture of continuous learning through learning communities, mentoring, and coaching programs

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Education, or a related field

2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development or Training & Development

3. Strong knowledge of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and training evaluation models

4. Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing training programs

5. Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools

6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate engaging training sessions

7. Relevant certifications in Training & Development will be a plus
