Job description for Learning and Development Intern at Watson's Personal Care Stores Pte Ltd
Assist the Learning and Development Team in areas such as:
1. Training Coordination & Administration
o Assist in preparation of the training support materials/handouts for training courses
o Update the online course evaluation in a timely manner
o Administer training records to facilitate the tracking of training hours and training cost
o Assist in system eLearning modules update and staff announcement
o Assist in churning the learning reports
o Assist in internal staff compliment quarterly reward communication, monthly eLearning communication
o Ensure prompt issuance of certificates to course participants
2. Internal & External Course/Event Administration
o Assist in course enrolment and venue booking
o Ensure all internal and external training communication completed prior to the course commencement date
o Coordinate with Pharmacy and Sales Ops team for meeting venue request/booking
o Follow up with the internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
3. Staff Engagement Activities
o Assist in organizing ad hoc recreational and staff engagement activities
o Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned, such as sustainability events, employee survey,
focus groups, etc.
o Providing prompt assistance in attending to all types of staff’s queries, issues, etc and if
needed, to surface it to Manager for attention
4. Adhoc & Others
o To ensure internal & external training venues are clean and equipment in good/clean working order.
o Filing of work records are to be in a neat manner
o Involve in ad hoc group projects as assigned by Manager
Requirements:
o Positive attitude, enthusiastic and passionate about learning & development and the retail industry
o Able to work independently and in a team to meet tight timelines
o Self-driven learner & takes initiative
o Ability to multi-task with strong organizational & planning skills.
o Able to commit from Early Jan 2022 onwards for at least 4 months
