About the Role
As our Lead Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences while helping shape the future of Nimble Explorers.
You will be responsible for implementing our integrated iSTEAM curriculum, leading classroom experiences, coaching new teachers, and ensuring every child receives engaging, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate learning opportunities.
Beyond teaching, you will contribute to curriculum enhancement, programme development, parent partnerships, and the continuous improvement of our educational practices.

Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based iSTEAM lessons.
- Create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for children.
- Observe, assess and document children’s learning and development.
- Prepare learning materials and maintain an inspiring classroom environment.
- Prepare termly progress reports and contribute to parent newsletters.
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Guide and support the Assistant Teacher in daily operations.
- Ensure children’s safety, well-being and positive behaviour at all times.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous programme improvement.
- Support centre events, workshops and holiday programmes. (when required)
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Preschool or Enrichment Center and familiarity with using Singapore/Cambridge curriculum
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Psychology, Early Childhood or related field
- Strong understanding of play-based and inquiry-based learning.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Strong communication, classroom management and organizational skills.
- Passionate, creative and committed to children’s learning and development.
- Tech savvy and comfortable with digital tools for planning and reporting
