TECHNICAL & LABORATORY ENGINEER
Key Requirements

Under 35 years old
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a chemistry-related field
HIGHLY PREFERRED
Experience in Electroplating / Surface Finishing**
Experience in Specialty Chemicals
Experience in Technical Service or Chemical Laboratory
Able to drive a car and hold a valid SIM A
Job Responsibilities
1. Perform chemical analysis and material testing based on company and customer requirements.
2. Conduct laboratory testing and sample analysis both in-house and at customer sites.
3. Perform laboratory tests such as titration, Hull Cell testing, AAS, UV-Vis, and other chemical analysis.
4. Record, analyze, and prepare clear reports of laboratory test results.
5. Support troubleshooting of chemical and electroplating process problems based on laboratory test results.
6. Provide technical support and recommendations to customers.
7. Work closely with the Sales, Technical Service, and Laboratory teams to handle customer requirements and technical issues.
8. Assist in investigating and solving customer complaints related to chemical products and electroplating processes.
9. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
10. Ensure all laboratory activities are performed according to company procedures and safety standards.
11. Visit customer sites to conduct testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support when required.
12. Perform other duties related to technical and laboratory activities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Male, under 35 years old.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or other chemistry-related fields.**
Work experience in Laboratory, Technical Service, Chemical, or related industries is required.
Experience in Electroplating, Surface Finishing, or Specialty Chemicals is highly preferred
Strong understanding of chemical analysis and laboratory procedures.
Experience with AAS, UV-Vis, titration, Hull Cell testing, and chemical analysis is an advantage.
Good understanding of electroplating or surface finishing processes is a strong advantage.
Able to analyze problems, perform troubleshooting, and provide practical technical solutions.
Able to prepare clear and accurate laboratory reports.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to drive a car and hold a valid SIM A is highly preferred.
Willing to travel and visit customer sites when required.
Good command of English is an advantage.
Responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, willing to learn, and able to work under pressure.
