Clinical Psychologist Advisor
Job Summary
HaloBestie is an anonymous peer emotional support platform that connects users with trained peer listeners ("Besties"). We are looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist to serve as an Advisor, ensuring our peer support system remains safe, ethical, and evidence-informed.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional guidance on peer support protocols and best practices.
- Review and improve training materials for peer listeners.
- Advise on user safety, crisis escalation, and referral guidelines.
- Support the development of emotional support frameworks and SOPs.
- Review challenging or high-risk cases (without providing direct therapy to users).
- Collaborate with the product and operations team to continuously improve service quality.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology (Profesi Psikolog Klinis).
- Holds an active STR/SIPP (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
- Strong understanding of ethics, crisis management, and psychological first aid.
- Passionate about improving access to mental health support through technology.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with digital mental health platforms or startups.
- Experience in supervision, training, or developing counseling programs.
- Interest in AI, digital health, or product development.
