Role Description
The KOL Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the time. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers that align with client brand objectives.
Day-to-day tasks include researching potential KOLs, negotiating partnerships, coordinating campaign deliverables, and ensuring content meets brand guidelines and timelines. The KOL Specialist will track performance metrics, prepare reports, and optimize KOL campaigns based on data insights.
The role also involves close collaboration with internal teams such as account management, creative, and performance marketing to integrate KOL activities into broader digital strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of influencer and KOL marketing, including platform trends (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads) and audience behavior.
- Experience in digital marketing campaign coordination, including planning, execution, and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building and maintaining professional relationships with KOLs and partners.
- Ability to conduct market and audience research, analyze campaign data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup in Jakarta, Indonesia, with the ability to collaborate both in person and remotely.
- Prior experience in an agency or marketing environment is preferred; familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus.
