Job description for Kindergarten Teacher (Placement - Bangka) at Mutiara Harapan Islamic School
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on foundational skills such as literacy, numeracy, social skills, and motor development.
- Help children develop essential social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure that the classroom is a safe, welcoming, and supportive space for all children.
- Regularly assess and observe each child’s development, noting progress in areas such as language, motor skills, socialization, and behavior.
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child’s development, academic progress, and behavior.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in child development, pedagogical skills, and classroom management.
- Strong communication, creativity, and adaptability.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching young children.
- Proficiency in English with an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.
- Fluency in Quran recitation.
- Computer and technology literacy.
- Commitment to professional development and staying updated on early childhood education trends.
