Job description for Key Account Specialist (Modern Trade) at PMI Haircare
Hi! We are PT Putera Mahkota Indonesia, the sole importer and distributor of K18 and ghd in Indonesia
We are looking for a Key Account Specialist to manage and grow our Modern Trade business for K18 and ghd across premium retail partners. You will take ownership of key accounts, from sales planning and buyer relationships to promotions, product availability, and in-store brand execution.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute Modern Trade sales plans in line with overall brand and commercial direction.
- Manage sales targets and performance across assigned key accounts, including partners such as Sephora, Sociolla, and other premium retailers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and other key stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial arrangements, trade terms, promotional plans, and account-specific initiatives.
- Coordinate trade promotions, product launches, and retail activations with internal and external teams.
- Monitor product availability, sell-in, sell-through, and stock levels across assigned accounts.
- Ensure visual merchandising and brand presentation consistently meet brand standards at retail touchpoints.
- Prepare sales forecasts, account reports, and performance analysis to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Handle account-related operational matters and coordinate the resolution of customer or partner issues when required.
You’re the Right Fit If You
- Have 2–3 years of experience in Key Account Management, Modern Trade, Sales, or a related commercial role.
- Have strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Understand retail operations, trade marketing, and visual merchandising.
- Are comfortable working with sales data, sell-through performance, forecasts, and commercial targets.
- Are organized, proactive, and able to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Have good communication skills. English proficiency is an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience in beauty, FMCG, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands.
- Existing experience working with premium retailers or major Modern Trade accounts.
