Job description for Key Account Manager - Logistics at PT. Repex Wahana (RPX)
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in any major (preferably Management, Logistics, Business, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sales / Key Account / Business Development, preferably from the logistics, freight forwarding, trucking, or express industries.
- Accustomed to managing strategic accounts with high revenue value.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Able to read simple financial reports and understand margin calculations.
- Target-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Able to work across departments (sales, operations, finance).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.
- Willing to travel for business as required.
- Placement in Surabaya, East Java
Main Responsibilties:
- Manage and develop strategic/key accounts to ensure revenue and margin targets are met.
- Be the primary contact for key customers and maintain long-term relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities (upselling, cross-selling, lane expansion).
- Develop and implement account strategies and conduct regular business reviews.
- Coordinate with the operational team to ensure SLAs and service quality are met.
- Monitor account performance (revenue, margin, AR, complaints).
- Oversee the tender process, price negotiations, and contract renewals.
- Prepare forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM updates on a regular basis.
- Handle customer escalations quickly and effectively.
