Cashier Job Description
- Handle customer payment transactions accurately and efficiently
- Operate cashier machines and payment systems
- Accept cash, debit/credit card, and e-wallet payments
- Provide receipts and change to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the cashier area
- Perform cash counting at the beginning and end of shifts
- Assist customers with payment-related inquiries
- Report transaction issues to the supervisor
- Help maintain excellent customer service and store atmosphere
