Barbershop Cashier Job Description
* Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Process cash, debit/credit card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
* Operate the cash register, POS system, and payment terminals.
* Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile cash balances.
* Manage customer appointments and service schedules.
* Provide information about services, prices, promotions, and products.
* Promote and recommend hair care products and additional services to customers.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier and waiting areas.
* Assist with basic administrative tasks, including inventory monitoring and record keeping.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Qualifications
* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
* Proficient in using computers and cashier/POS systems.
* Must speak English
* Honest, detail-oriented, responsible, and disciplined.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
