What You Will Contribute:

As a Junior UI/UX Designer (Figma) at The Cakap Group, you will support the creation of engaging digital experiences and visual identities for The Cakap Group and its hospitality, restaurant, and lifestyle clients. Your primary focus will be on UI/UX and web design using Figma, while also contributing to branding, graphic design, and other visual communication materials. You will work closely with the Creative, Marketing, Development, and Project teams to translate business objectives and brand requirements into polished digital experiences and consistent visual identities.

What You Will Do:

• Design user-friendly and visually engaging websites and digital interfaces using Figma.
• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Design responsive web experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Translate hospitality client requirements and brand guidelines into effective digital designs.
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components and basic design systems in Figma.
• Support the development and implementation of brand identities and visual guidelines for The Cakap Group and its clients.
• Create graphic design materials for branding, marketing, social media, presentations, campaigns, and other business needs.
• Develop visual assets including layouts, digital graphics, promotional materials, and branded content.
• Ensure consistent use of typography, colors, imagery, layouts, and other visual elements across brand touchpoints.
• Conduct basic competitor and visual research to support UI, UX, and branding decisions.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Development, and Project teams throughout the design process.
• Prepare design assets and specifications for developers and other internal teams.
• Review developed websites and digital materials to ensure consistency with approved designs and brand standards.
• Adapt designs based on feedback from internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Manage multiple design projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Stay updated on current UI/UX, web design, branding, graphic design, and hospitality trends.

Who We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in UI/UX, Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong practical experience using Figma for web and UI design.
• Solid understanding of UI design principles, UX fundamentals, typography, layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience designing responsive websites for desktop and mobile.
• Experience with branding and graphic design, including visual identity and marketing materials.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX, web design, branding, and graphic design projects.
• Experience working with hospitality, hotel, restaurant, lifestyle, travel, or similar brands is highly preferred.
• Understanding of wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and basic usability principles.
• Ability to translate brand identity and business requirements into compelling digital and visual experiences.
• Proficiency in additional design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how designs are translated into websites is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency across digital and brand materials.
• Good communication skills and ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.
• Able to collaborate effectively with developers, marketers, creatives, and other stakeholders.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Creative, proactive, adaptable, and eager to continuously develop design skills.
• Good command of English is preferred.
