Job description for Junior Kotlin Developer at Kodegiri
JOB DESCRIPTIONS :
- Design, build, maintain, and enhance scalable application features and business logic using Kotlin.
- Contribute directly to the core development, feature enhancement, and maintenance of Point of Sale (POS), retail, and transaction systems.
- Collaborate with existing software engineers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into functional technical implementations.
- Conduct end-to-end debugging, root cause analysis, and rapid troubleshooting to resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Actively participate in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, clean code architecture, and software security practices.
- Support ongoing application testing, unit testing, bug fixing, and release activities during SIT/UAT phases.
- Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation covering system logic, feature workflows, and API/component specifications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Kotlin development.
- Familiar with Kotlin programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
- Experience using Android Studio or a relevant Kotlin development environment.
- Strong familiarity with Git for source code version control, branching strategies, and collaborative team workflows.
- Able to debug and troubleshoot application issues.
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary development teams.
- Willing to work Fulltime Onsite at Sudirman area, Central Jakarta, with the ability to join immediately (ASAP).
