Job description for Junior GHG Consultant at High and Low Headhunters
Requirements :
- Open for local candidates.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience (climate change, environment, sustainable energy).
- Excellent command in verbal and written English (IELTS score 5 and above).
- Academic background in engineering.
- Self-driven personality, ability to work flexibly, independently as well as within a diverse team of professionals.
- Understand GHG inventory / carbon accounting/ Climate impact methodologies for organisation and project-based (ISO 14064 series, GHG Protocol, CDM methodologies, etc.).
- Ability to analyse calculation results and develop recommendations.
- Experience in developing a decarbonisation / net-zero strategy and roadmap is preferred.
- Knowledge of big data analysis (Phyton, SQL, etc.) or GIS mapping is a plus.
- Advanced skills with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Familiarity with similar programs or software, or databases is a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, adapt and improve calculation sheets according to the needs of the projects.
- Support the research within the GHG management and climate resilience department: update regulations and standards and produce research pieces for clients with proper referencing.
- Write news sections for the website.
- Organize and clean data for Carbon accounting/climate risk assessments, ensuring it is complete, consistent, and formatted correctly.
- Support project management, folder structure and update Gantt charts/Project Timeline.
- Support communication and documentation with clients.
- Support monitoring of working days.
- Participate in analysis and report writing.
- Prepare Minutes of meetings of important discussions.
- Participate in report writing and prepare presentations for clients.
- Assist in translations and editing work.
