Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated, creative and experienced junior data scientist who loves technology with excellent problem-solving skills to take JULO’s machine learning capabilities to the next level.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, develop and deploy machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions to solve a wide array of business problems
- Define problems and hypotheses, develop data driven recommendations and decision support tools to solve business problems with actionable insights and increase business value.
- Continuously improve the predictive value of our models, monitor model performance in production systems closely.
- Develop a culture of highly reproducible work, attention to detail, quality of work and getting solutions to production quickly.
- Clearly communicate analysis, results and thinking process to stakeholders.
You should have:
- Exceptional CAN-DO ATTITUDE, curious, analytical, fast learning. have excellent problem-solving skills
- Min 1+ years experience with Data Science, Quantitative Analysis, Statistical Analysis and Modelling
- Fluency in Python and the core python data stack (Numpy, Pandas, Scipy, Scikit-learn, Jupyter), comfortable working with relational SQL databases, great data visualization and presentation skills (using Tableau, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Good understanding of CS fundamentals e.g. algorithms and data structures
- Solid communication skills (Bahasa Indonesia and English)
- You must be results-oriented and willing to work in a fast and dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar advanced degree
Nice to have experience in any of the following:
- Experience in A/B testing and experimentation
- Experience in Deep learning, NLP, Credit Risk Scoring, Risk or Loan
- Portfolio Analysis
- Master’s or PhD Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Applied Maths
