Job description for Junior Data Engineer at Celerates
Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
2. Manage and optimize data workflows using GCP services
3. Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes
4. Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Teams to support data needs
5. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
6. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues
7. Create technical documentation related to data architecture and processes
Requirements
1. 1–2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or related role.
2. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Python.
3. Familiar with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer, or Pub/Sub
4. Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
5. Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
6. Experience handling large-scale datasets and implementing data quality best practices is preferred.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
