Job description for Junior Architect at budgetHR
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing architectural designs and drawings under the supervision of senior architects.
- Prepare detailed plans, layouts, and 3D models using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather project requirements and assess feasibility.
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers and contractors, to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
- Research materials, construction methods, and sustainability practices to enhance project outcomes.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for client meetings and project approvals.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Support the preparation of project cost estimates and timelines.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in architectural design, drafting, or construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the architectural field.
