About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our architecture and development team. The role will support the design, documentation, coordination, and execution of residential, coliving, hospitality, and property development projects.
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working across both design and technical documentation, can translate concepts into practical drawings, and is willing to be involved in the project from early design stages through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Architectural Design
* Assist in developing architectural concepts, layouts, and design proposals.
* Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and architectural drawings.
* Develop space planning and room layouts based on project requirements.
* Assist with material, finish, furniture, fixture, and equipment selections.
* Prepare architectural presentations, mood boards, and design materials.
* Revise designs based on feedback from senior architects and project management.
2. Technical Drawings & Documentation
* Produce accurate architectural drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant software.
* Prepare detailed drawings suitable for construction.
* Assist in developing architectural details and construction documentation.
* Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, interior, and other consultants.
* Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and project documentation.
* Review drawings for consistency, dimensions, specifications, and constructability.
3. Construction & Site Coordination
* Participate in site visits and inspections.
* Assist in monitoring architectural works against approved drawings and specifications.
* Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and report them to the project architect.
* Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams.
* Assist with resolving technical and architectural issues during construction.
* Prepare site measurement, as-built drawings, and documentation when required.
4. Project Development Support
* Assist with feasibility studies, site measurements, and preliminary planning.
* Support the preparation of area calculations, unit layouts, and development plans.
* Assist in researching building regulations, applicable standards, and permitting requirements.
* Help evaluate materials, construction methods, and design alternatives based on cost and practicality.
5. Project Administration
* Maintain organized project files and drawing archives.
* Track drawing revisions and consultant submissions.
* Assist in preparing meeting materials, presentation decks, and project reports.
* Participate in coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (S1 Arsitektur) from a recognized university.
* 0–3 years of professional architectural experience.
* Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply.
* Strong understanding of architectural planning, construction, and building detailing.
* Good knowledge of architectural drawing standards and construction documentation.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
* Working knowledge of Revit, Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software is an advantage.
* Good understanding of basic structural and MEP coordination.
* Willing to work on-site and conduct project/site visits when required.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the project team.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with any of the following will have an advantage:
* Experience in residential, coliving, hospitality, or commercial projects.
* Experience preparing construction drawings and architectural details.
* Experience working with contractors or consultants.
* Understanding of Indonesian building regulations and permitting processes.
* Experience with Revit/BIM.
* Experience with quantity take-offs, BOQ, or basic cost estimation.
* Familiarity with Indonesian construction materials and methods.
* Experience conducting site measurements and producing as-built drawings.
