Job description for Junior Accountant at PT Sanders Investment Fund
THE BALI HOUSES is a real estate service company assisting Dutch investors with end-to-end property investment services in Bali. We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team and support accounting and tax matters for our clients and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Support Senior Accountant to prepare periodic financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, and Balance Sheets on a YTD and MoM basis.
- Support Senior Accountant to manage vendor invoices and ensure timely monthly payments, including wages, taxes, and petty cash expenses.
- Handle full accounting operations for a PT PMA, including the setup and maintenance of an accounting system suitable for a real estate business.
- Handle statutory tax compliance, including PPh, VAT, and property-related taxes, ensuring timely calculation, filing, and payment.
- Manage tax and regulatory registrations, including NPWP, NPWPD, and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan & Kesehatan.
- Assist the accounting team with compliance-related tasks and ad hoc reporting as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role; experience in the real estate industry or client handling is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, and Indonesian taxation.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and experienced with accounting software (Xero).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Based in Bali.
