Job description for Jr. DevSecOps Engineer at Synapsis.id

Job Descriptions

  1. Manage containerization and virtualization technologies to support scalable and efficient application deployment.
  2. Assist in responding promptly to developer requests and complaints related to infrastructure issues.
  3. Support the development, deployment, and continuous optimization of CI/CD pipelines for reliable and automated software delivery.
  4. Collaborate with the DevSecOps team and Engineers to ensure security practices and operational effectiveness of infrastructure.
  5. Monitor infrastructure performance and security using tools such as Grafana, Wazuh, and other monitoring systems.
  6. Monitor infrastructure performance and security, participate in troubleshooting and resolving system and deployment issues to minimize downtime.
  7. Assist in configuring and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) for automated environment setup.
  8. Document processes, workflows, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
  9. Stay updated with the latest DevSecOps trends and technologies, recommending improvements for security and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  1. Graduate from Bachelor, Diploma 3, Diploma 4 degree from IT, Computer Science, or other related majors.
  2. Have a minimum 1 year of experience as an DevSecOps Engineer or other related role.
  3. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across different teams.
  4. Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
  5. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or similar environments.
  6. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and commonly used tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.
  7. Understand the basics of containerization and virtualization, especially with Docker and Kubernetes.
  8. Understand the basics of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  9. Understand the basics of monitoring and security tools, especially with Grafana and Wazuh.
  10. Knowledge the principles of DevSecOps and best practices in software development and deployment.

Synapsis Sinergi Digital that aims to support our partners in solving their problems in efficient and effective way using advanced and reliable Internet of Things solutions. To achieve our visions, we provide end-to-end services from analysing, designing, prototyping, manufacturing, and installing the integrated IoT solutions. We are experienced in developing IoT systems. Our IoT systems have been deployed to solve the problems in offices, cities, and also rural villages (3T: Tertinggal, Terdepan, dan Terluar) in Indonesia.
