Job description for Japanese-Speaking Assistant at PT. SUNTO JAPAN INDONESIA
Job Description:
Responsible for serving as a communication liaison between the Japanese owner and the local operational team, ensuring that all information is conveyed clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner, while supporting the smooth execution of daily business operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Accurately translate verbal and written communication (Japanese – Indonesian);
2. Act as the main liaison between the Japanese owner and the operational team;
3. Effectively convey instructions, reports, and evaluations from the owner to the team;
4. Accompany the owner in meetings, visits, or other business activities (if required);
5. Assist with basic administrative tasks (report preparation, email correspondence, and scheduling);
6. Ensure operations run in accordance with the owner’s directives; and
7. Maintain professional and effective communication between both parties.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum education of Diploma (D3) or equivalent;
2. Proficient in Japanese, at least equivalent to JLPT N3;
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
4. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and highly responsible;
5. Experience or skills as an interpreter/translator are an advantage;
6. Able to work flexibly in accordance with the owner’s schedule; and
7. Prior experience working with a Japanese company is preferred.
