Job description for IT Support Engineer (Remote) at Edgeworks Solutions Pte Ltd

- To respond and resolve customers' software or hardware technical issues through various communication platforms
- To maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected
- To support and advise customers in the usage of equipment by providing necessary guidance and advice
- To assist in coordinating and arranging of external technical support when problems cannot be resolved off-site
- To manage and monitor a log of customers' change requests
- To assist the Support Lead / Senior Operations Manager on any other tasks as instructed
- Diploma / Degree in IT / Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
- Good command of English
- Preferably at least 1 year of working experience in related field
- Strong in both written and verbal communications
- Proven customer support experience, with excellent phone contact handling and active listening skills
- Possess a high proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio
- Able to work on weekends as rotational weekend duties apply
