Job description for IT Support Engineer (Remote) at Edgeworks Solutions Pte Ltd
Edgeworks Solutions is a retail solution company with office in Singapore and Indonesia, and specializes in helping retail, restaurants and beauty businesses to automate business functions through highly user friendly software.
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer (Remote) with a strong background in customer service to provide IT support to customers by aiding them in resolving any software/hardware issues.

Job Description
- To respond and resolve customers' software or hardware technical issues through various communication platforms
- To maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected
- To support and advise customers in the usage of equipment by providing necessary guidance and advice
- To assist in coordinating and arranging of external technical support when problems cannot be resolved off-site
- To manage and monitor a log of customers' change requests
- To assist the Support Lead / Senior Operations Manager on any other tasks as instructed
Job Specifications
- Diploma / Degree in IT / Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
- Good command of English
- Preferably at least 1 year of working experience in related field
- Strong in both written and verbal communications
- Proven customer support experience, with excellent phone contact handling and active listening skills
- Possess a high proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio
- Able to work on weekends as rotational weekend duties apply
